Ha'aretz reports this morning that the Knesset approved last week by law a waiver on tax due from the income from rental of a single residential apartment of up to $1,000 (approx. 4,200 NIS).. . Upto now the waiver was on income up to 3,830 NIS and was part of an order.. . Also approved in the law was the waiver on Purchase Tax on the first 575,000 NIS of Real Estate (the first tax bracket).
