Bat Shlomo
Bat Shlomo was created in 1889 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild, who also established the Zichron Yaacov, Binyamina and Givat Ada townships. Much like the surrounding communities, the village of Bat Shlomo was built in a Moshava (Colony) style common to the era of the first Aaliyah (immigration of Jewish people to Israel between 1882 & 1904). Much of the original design of Bat Shlomo has been preserved with many buildings and houses remaining almost exactly as they had been built 119 years ago. The 'close quarter' neighborhood is great for facilitating a strong sense of community and allowing for ease of accessibility to resources throughout the town and surrounding towns. With a size of 19,000 square meters (4.69 Acres) the district of Bat Shlomo is not large but the character and heritage of Bat Shlomo gives the area a distinctive feel.
